I would suggest you stop there to say you were there then keep going. Quite a let down for all the effort we went to to get there.

We ended up leaving early after one day because we felt like the owners and workers had no interest in tourist and all four of us felt like it was a grab for cash without any welcoming feeling. They begrudge stayed open so we could order dinner on the first night. It was out of main tourist season so we were probably 1 group of two there . The good was pretty descent and the place was pretty cool.

We spent 5 days riding bikes to the corner in November . For us it was an epic trip we intended on staying there two nights to relax before our trip home.

What an amazing part of the world. I had the best time there. Cheryl and Fenn were so welcoming and friendly and so easy to talk to. The beds were surprisingly very comfortable considering you are in the middle of the outback and the shower facilitates were fairly old but the shower was great. The two things I like when I am staying in accommodation. Got to meet some of the locals and organised to catch up the next night. What a blast we had an absolutely fabulous bunch. What a place to photograph. The colours are amazing and the contrast against the red dirt is really something to see. We will defiantly be going back. Am organising another trip in September.

Yes everything is expensive but you kinda expect that . I feel they have worked there to long and have lost the hospitality they probably once had. Yes we probably ask all the same questions but where’s the genuine hospitality you see in the outback Australia ...

All that is here. Great range of souvenirs. Beer is cold after a long drive.

A welcome sight after the long drive from Marree, this isolated outpost provided great hospitality - a comfortable bed and a right bonza meal!
